How to send email campaigns with promote.email
Short guides for everything you need: creating a sender, importing contacts, building an email, sending within your limits, reading reports and handling unsubscribes.
Send your first campaign in five steps
- 1Create a sender: add the name people will see in their inbox. The sending address is managed for you, so there is no mail server to set up.
- 2Add contacts: upload a CSV file or paste addresses into a list. Duplicates and people who unsubscribed are skipped automatically.
- 3Build the email: pick a template, then add text, images and buttons block by block. Use personalisation tags to greet people by name.
- 4Choose when to send: send straight away or pick a date and time.
- 5Watch the report: delivered, opened, clicked, bounced and unsubscribed are updated as the campaign runs.
Importing and cleaning contact lists
- 1A CSV needs one column with email addresses; name and other columns are optional and can be used as personalisation tags.
- 2Imports stop at the contact allowance of your plan. Anything above the limit is skipped and shown in the summary so you can upload it later.
- 3Addresses that bounced or unsubscribed stay suppressed across every list, so you never mail them again by mistake.
Sending limits and how campaigns are paced
- 1Each plan has a daily and a monthly email allowance, shown on your dashboard and before you send.
- 2Campaigns are sent in small batches that respect the allowed sending rate, so mailboxes accept them instead of flagging a sudden burst.
- 3The campaign page shows live progress, current speed and the estimated finish time. If you reach your daily limit, sending pauses and continues the next day.
Getting into the inbox
- 1Only mail people asked for. Permission is the single biggest factor in delivery.
- 2Write a clear subject line that matches the content and avoid all-capitals or too many exclamation marks.
- 3Remove addresses that never open after several campaigns — a smaller engaged list performs better.
- 4Every email carries an unsubscribe link, which mailbox providers expect and which protects your reputation.
Plans, payment and invoices
- 1Start on the free plan and upgrade whenever you need a bigger allowance.
- 2At checkout you can pay by UPI, bank transfer, card, crypto or a payment gateway; prices are shown in USD and INR.
- 3Manual payments are confirmed after the team reviews your payment proof, usually the same working day.
- 4Every payment produces an invoice you can open and download from your subscription page.
Common questions
- Do I need my own mail server or SMTP details?
- No. Sending is handled by managed servers, so you only choose the name people see in their inbox and start sending.
- How do unsubscribes work?
- Every email includes an unsubscribe link. One tap stops all future marketing email to that address across all of your lists.
- Can I try it for free?
- Yes. The free plan includes the editor, contact lists, reports and unsubscribe handling with a smaller monthly allowance.
- Which currencies can I pay in?
- Plans are priced in US dollars and Indian rupees, and you can pay by UPI, bank transfer, card, crypto or a payment gateway.
- How long does a campaign take to send?
- Campaigns go out in paced batches within your plan and server limits. The campaign page shows live progress and an estimated finish time.
